We have several male and female apricot Standard Poodle puppies remaining from an AKC litter whelped April 23, 2023. The dam and sire are on premises. We are a nonprofit IRS 501(c)(3) animal sanctuary, partnered with an animal science college and behavioral health organization located on 15 acres in Crescent City FL. The puppies are ready for rehoming to families and individuals as pets, or for therapy or emotional support dogs for children with Autism or other special needs (we can assist with training and certification). All puppies have been wormed on schedule, will have their first DHAPP vaccination, have been examined by our veterinarian, and have their AKC registration papers and pedigrees. Standard poodles generally have a kind and friendly personality, but they are very energetic and do best with regular exercise for both mind and body .They prefer to be with people most of the time. They like having a job to do and are eager to please, making them highly trainable. As long as your poodle has an outlet for their energy, Standard Poodles do well with children. Poodles are good family dogs-fun, energetic, smart and easy to train.
HEALTH & GROOMING
All canine’s may or may not have health problems just like humans. Canine’s, as a species, are prone to hip displasia for instance which is a condition that affects their hind quarters, hips and legs, and is a deteriorative condition of which the likelihood can be reduce by making sure you friend gets fed right, and has all the nutrients it requires to live a healthy active life. We pride ourselves on feeding our animals the proper food to get the adequate supplements they need. We will be happy to share this information. Poodles do not shed much, if at all, but do require brushing every day, the fur to be shaved from between their toes every week, and a professional haircut every 4-6 weeks as desired. We wish we had children around to have fun brushing our poodle's hair. Don’t forget the teeth!
ABOUT THE OWNER
Although our Poodles are pure bred, AKC certified/registered and have full breeding rights, we are a hobby breeder. Our Poodles are our kids and grand kids. The puppies are pampered, bathed, groomed, and cleaned up after. We are also professionals who hold certificates from programs including Auburn University and have years of professional canine and health training. We not only begin the preschool training, but we give you tips, advice, and are ALWAYS available to answer any question or help you with undesirable behavior from your Poodle. We will also offer play visits and babysitting for local buyers. Our Poodle pups will grow large but will maintain a friendly, playful attitude that endears them to the entire family. Each Poodle will be sent home with a poodle pup package and a special gift from us. I care for my poodles so it's a process to get my poodle pups. I take all the steps to make sure they are going to the right family. I Run Background checks on all families to make sure my poodle pups go to a great family.
