I home-raise pure-bred Maltese puppies. They are shown lots of love and attention. My dogs are young and healthy and get fed well. I also allow resting time between litters to ensure the best quality puppies. I have however a unique experience with the latest litter, a male and a female. The male was born with no tail. So I had my vet x-ray him. The spine is perfect. The hip sockets are not fully formed, thus: hip displasia. The vet says that since the bones are still developing in puppies at this age he may improve all on his own. He walks well and will probably not need surgery. The female has a hernia and will probably need surgery which can be done when spaying her. She will make a great pet but cannot be used for breeding.
