Photos are of pups at 6 weeks old. They are bigger and even more adorable. Most weigh between 8.5 to 9.5 lbs.
Researched Pedigree goes back to 1868 in England and in 1900's foundation bloodline from Peter of Faskally, 2x National Champion in England. Peter was used as the "perfect Labrador" for field trials stature and was bred to other similar females to create the Labrador that was sent to the USA. The original lab was black, prior to Peter of Faskally, it was the St John's dog that was used for Labradors field trials. They were used for swimming and fishing. We researched Peter in one GGP line for Star and he was listed over 70 times on that one line.

I would suggest clicking on the Males because they are the dominant Field Trial Champions although there are Hall of Fame Female Champions as well and many female Labs with titles.

She has 48 Hall of Fame Champions listed and bred multiple times in her pedigree with various female titled champions or champion bloodline females. Hall of Famers are the best of the best champion nominated to the Retreiver Hall of Fame which is listed on the Internet. We researched Star's GGP - Great Grandparent's line in her ancestry. It goes back to 1868 and we counted the total of "titles" for all the dogs in that line. There were over 1000 titles listed with all the dogs, many dogs having 3-4 titles. We have DNA on Star, all her genetic tests and all are CLEAR. Her Hips are listed as Excellent. Elbows and Eyes are Normal. She does NOT have the gene for Silver Labs that are not recognized by AKC. She is Pure Black but might be able to throw yellow if bred by a yellow Lab. Star as adult weighs between 65-70 lbs. The first time Star went to a creek she jumped in without hesitation and dived to the bottom. She loves to ride waves from boats on Lake Tahoe and other lakes. I have taught her how to hug by laying her head on my tummy - people are amazed at Star and what she has learned.

Puppies are perfect in confirmation build, very intelligent and they learn fast, sweet disposition with adorable personalities. Beautiful heads and body. It may sound unusual but our dogs and puppies have perfectly straight teeth. That is very unusual for most dogs. But not for Champion bloodlines.
Pups have had their 1st shots, declaws removed, dewormed twice and will be microchipped on Friday. They are weaned and can eat dry food and biscuits broken apart. We add water to food still. The have been introduced to water and frequently socialize with us as we talk, sing, play, bathe, calling them by name. The pups know the words "no-no" "back-up" "what to eat?" "Water" "what a treat?" "go night-night" "easy" "shhhh" "go outside" "Momma" (me). We are a home breeder, not a business and we have only 1 adult female. Our Momma Lab ("Star" -the Dam) was 5 yrs. old for this litter. We searched for 2 years for the perfect Sire to breed her with for the bloodline to exceptional.
