Reptiles For Sale Near Me

Well cared for, beautiful 8 ish month old, Terrapin Turtle

Diamondback Terrapin Reptiles for sale in Cocoa, FL 32926, USA. price: NAIf you can offer some time, patience, & money, yes it can get expensive, you must have the right set up, lights, day & night with uva, filters, live plants, accessories, a very, very large (100gallon) tank with a separate or floating/raised, nice size, basking area, then you might be a good owner of a Terrapin. If you have an all-around, special kind of love and care to offer, then "Shell-ee", our Diamondback Terrapin could be a great pet for you/you and your family. Honestly, I prefer someone with Terrapin/Aquatic Turtle experience, they are more work than you think, and they need lots lots lots of space, consisting of both water and land, lots of swimming area and a basking/feeding area. Terrapins are messy creatures, especially when they eat, so cleaning, and the right equipment is very important! Their overall health, especially their shells need special care, so vitamins, the right foods, the lights are all very important. At the minimum please research, a lot, and then if you're serious, really serious, contact me, otherwise please don't contact me with questions about their care, or questions that are in anyway about if it would make a good pet for a child because, by no means, is a Diamondback Terrapin Turtle a good pet for kids. They truly are only for certain people, and if we could keep him, we would, so this is a quest for the right someone, for our great Turtle. Honestly, if you know nothing about turtles, or the care of them, esp for this type of turtle specific, it's probably not for you, believe me, it's been work, but it's been rewarding as well. I've invested a lot of time, some money, but mostly, our hearts and we hate to have to place him/her, we've just been left with NO other choice, believe me, this is hard, so please know what you are getting into, I can't stress it enough. Terrapins are amazing, and all babies are cute, no matter what kind of animal, but he's getting bigger now, not a tiny turtle anymore, but he's beautifully patterned and somewhat friendly. Terrapins grow up to 12 inches, depending on M or F and we're still not sure what She'll-ee is, but he's double his size when we got him. Also, they can live a very, very long time as many of you know about turtles, so this is a serious decision that you really need to understand what it entails. I'm not looking to send off a loved pet for trial and error, I'd be better off sending him off in the river. His shell is very healthy, he's eating and growing perfectly, and is very beautiful. I'm attaching photos from when we first got him, on forward. Please, only very serious turtle owners/previous owners, or those who have put a lot of thought and research, into being a potential, serious caretaker of this amazing reptile. Oh, I bet he'd love some turtle friends also, I wish that for him/her. Thank you. Oh, ps. All I am asking for is a Re-homing fee, it's negotiable depending on situation but i want to keep this to serious buyers and that's why I'm charging it. Thanks again.View Detail
