I rescued Timmy from a lady i work with; she was going to throw him in the trash:( i know nothing about turtles but know he wasnt going to the trash! I bought him a bigger tank (was in 40 gal) a 70 gal tank and a nice stand to hold it. I have read up and added lights and a basking platform. I try to keep tank clean but he could use a better filter pump. I am not trying make money off "him" just recoup what i spent on tank and stand. I am located in Greer SC.View Detail

Please Give These Two a New Home
Hello. I’ve have my turtles since 2008. I am 18 years old and like any other clueless family my parents bought use red eared slider turtles for their kids as pets. We used to have three but one died while I was in college. I don’t remember why. I just feel really sad whenever I see them and the fact that they have to live in such conditions. I convinced my dad to sell them rather than they continue living in hardship in a small tank. He wanted to release them in a river somewhere in New Jersey but I know they won’t survive as they are domesticated and this is the only home they have known and they wouldn’t know how to survive in the wild. I’m looking for people willing to give these turtles a good life and provide them with a good shelter. There are TWO red eared slider turtle. I’m unsure of their ages. Please ask me any question or come to me with any comments if you are interested in taking them.View Detail

Red eared slider named tiny.
Ive had this turtle for a few years and she needs a new home. Her name is tiny and she is nice but doesnt like being held and will try to bite you if she is being held, she is also very skittish. Her favorite treats are a mix of freeze dried shrimp and mealworms. She lives with a yellow slider that she is great friends with and ill give you both for an extra 100$. If you have small children make sure to keep her enclosure up high because she may try to bite them and she doesnt let go of fingers very easily and a turtles bite might even remove a wmall childs finger. Tiny is a very active turtle and doesmt hide very much, she also has a good apetite and is always happy to recive food and treats, shes even reached her head into the container of food a few times while i was putting her food into the water.View Detail
