15 month old Weimaraner
This is River, he is a neutered 15 month old AKC registered Weimaraner. I got River when I was living with my parents, he had a big yard, 3 other dogs and 2 cats to play with and he had lots of attention.
I recently moved out and he doesn’t have all of my those things anymore, I also got a new job so I am gone all day 5 days a week and I no longer have the time or energy to meet his needs anymore.
This dog NEEDS a job, he will NOT do well in a home where he is cooped up. He needs something to do every day to keep him busy.
Example’s of a good home for him- a farm, someone who runs every day and would like a running companion, someone who understands Weimaraner’s and can handle a dog like him.
He is an amazing dog and I love him so much but I just don’t have the means to take care of him.
River is GREAT with other dogs, he can get very excited and loud but he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, he’s good with kids and cats too. I need him to go to a home with someone who will put in the time.
His problems I’ve experienced is that he can have some separation anxiety so I currently have him on some medication to help with that and it works great!
As for his AKC registration, I have all the paperwork.
He is a loving dog and I need him to go to a good home.
