Listing Description
I have a young, male Siamese/Himalayan cat, named Fat Cat. He is an extremely handsome young man, who was born on July 8th 2024. He is in great health, and this past week he has been neutered, microchipped, gotten his rabies vaccine and had a check up with his vet. He is a sweetheart, and prefers to be in the company of "his human(s)" rather than being alone. I have had him since he was born, as his mom had been part of my family since she was a kitten, and very recently at 4yrs old, I had to have her put to sleep. I would like to be able to keep Fat Cat, as he is as much of my family as my own children are, but just as I would do for my children, I also will do for him, and I want what's best for him, regardless of if it's going to break my heart. Since Fat Cat's mom passed, he has been much more demanding of attention and doesn't much care to be alone for really any period of time. Him and his mom were very close, inseparable. Where one was, it was guranteed the other was very close. They were never apart. Ever. So since her passing he has had to face a huge adjustment and is wracked by loneliness when not in the presence of his other family members. He has been glued to my side and unfortunately I will not be able to continue to be he shadow for much longer, as I have personal life obligations which require my absence, and I don't want to stress him further or cause him any more sadness or loneliness by not being there for him. He would do best, and I would prefer for him to go to a home where he will get an abundance of love and attention. He does great with children and is fine with dogs (small) once he gets used to them, I'm unsure about large breed dogs however. He loves toys and playing fetch. He was an indoor/outdoor cat, but since his mom passed I have kept him indoors at all times. He will come when called, and when told it's time to eat. He loves, loves LOVES to eat!! He has enjoyed food almost as much as attention since he was a kitten. If you feel you could give him the home I would like him to have, PLEASE send me an email ASAP. Ik asking for a rehoming fee of $150, because of my just having him neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and yearly check up (although that's not nearly what that cost, it does still help lighten the impact for me). Also I want to be sure he goes to a home that is able to afford his needs, wants. I give him dry food at all times and canned food twice a day. And varied treats as desired. He is spoiled. Hope to hear from you soon, as I need him in a good home ASAP. Thank you!!
