Draco the red tail boa constrictor
Listing Type
Pet for Sale
Listing Description
We just want to find our beautiful 4 year old red rail boa a loving home.
She is a good snake who has been through a lot; she was rescued by us from an abusive situation a little over a year ago and we have nursed her back to health.
It has taken a solid year for her to recover from the abuse she endured and is a miracle she survived after her last owner starved and burned her.
We are not looking for a novice snake owner. We are hoping to find a responsible owner who will take her to the vet annually, keep her terrarium up and running safely , will be willing and able to give her subcutaneous antibiotic injections if she ever needs them in the future( needed on the past / does not need presently ) in addition to ONLY feeding her frozen thawed mice.
We know that’s a long list of responsibilities and we are hoping to rule out anyone who just thinks it’s cool to get a free snake.
That being said she comes with
Multiple heating pads, lights, water dish, decor, substrate, thermometers, humidity gauges ,a large hide , foliage, rocks ,a statue thingy and whatever else we forgot to mention.
She suffered from
Mites
Mouth rot
Live animal bites
Burns
And anorexia
She is now in perfect health.
She sheds regularly, moves her bowels normally, and eats well.
She has never bitten either of us and has hissed twice in the past year , once when we first brought her home and once after that when she had mites.
She is used to be handled Regularly.
She has a large custom built terrarium as if she is not housed appropriately she will escape. Lol
Serious inquires only please
