Contact Info at bottom.\r\n\r\nLions & Owls Named Top 4 Catteries in Florida\r\n\r\nWell, this is a delightful surprise as we only opened our doors to the public about a year and a half ago! Thank you Ily Best (California)!\r\n\r\nMost other breeders complain about pet buyers. Not us! We love our pet homes and are well known for being extremely discerning. Only luxury, pampered pet homes for our furbabies. As one of our pet homes in Key West says of us, \"we interview our potential pet homes... not the other way around.\" Our discretion has worked and 95% of our pet buyers purchase another kitten from us... A testament to the quality and temperament of our kitties!\r\n\r\nWe pamper our kitties who enjoy sitting out in our screened lanai overlooking a bird sanctuary over Roberts Bay Islands. Our cats know tropical birds as well John James Audubon, the famous ornithologist zoologist, naturalist and artist, known for his studies and detailed illustrations of North America birds. Our stud, Bond, is quite a fan of herons and Kiwi, our beautiful green-eyed Silver Persian, a fan of the Florida lizards they eat. All of our cats spend hours bird watching and window hunting. On our private road, one of Audubon\'s men once lived and he guarded our beloved preserve and ensured harm never came its way. Today, the three tiny Roberts Bay Islands are an important colony for 800-1000 pairs of Brown Pelicans, Great Blue Herons, and Great Egrets. The Sarasota Audubon Society has \"adopted\" the Roberts Bay Islands as a Project Colony Watch site. Our kitties very much so enjoy their efforts!\r\n\r\nWe are in tune with our community and its wishes. We operate legally as a boutique, hobby cattery for connoisseurs of finely bred, award-winning Persians and our cats have been used in advertising for businesses on the prestigious St. Armands Circle.\r\n\r\nWe honor and support those who do the sacred work. We donate a percentage of our pet sales to various rescues, shelters, CFA\'s BAP, and low cost/no cost shelters. We encourage other catteries to join us and pledge a percentage of their pet sales to feline charities, as well.\r\n\r\nOur cattery has focused on being transparent about our breed. We are forthcoming that Persians out of show lines are not beginner cats and require extensive grooming and care. We are politically active regarding animal rights and anti-cruelty. We advocate for laws banning the end of animal testing, banning the use of numbing eye drops in the show ring, banning the breeding of PKD+ cats, and eliminating pet mills by education and reaching out to politicians. We are lucky and proud to call a friend Congressman Vernon Buchanan who is a warrior for animal rights and Humane Society Legislator of the Year!\r\n\r\nOf course, we focus on our beloved hobby of showing purebred cats and preserving the breed. It looks like we will be bringing three, maybe five, new Premiership exhibitors to the show ring this year. We have been blessed to work with bloodlines out of Cats of the Years, National Winners, and Grand Champions. We salute our legacy of breeders and cats which came before us and preserved the breed and bloodlines. We hope to help revive the Gulf Coast show scene and throw a benefit show in the future.\r\n\r\nWe would like to thank the famed photographers who have immortalize our felines. They are Lisa Marie Garcia (FL), Chanon (CA), and John Manus (TX).\r\n\r\nThis award is inspirational. Thank you again Ily Best for this blessing! ❤\r\nLions Owls LLC\r\nLions & Owls Cattery\r\nAward-Winning Persians\r\nSiesta Key, FL 34242\r\n***\r\nFacebook: ***\r\nFacebook: ***\r\nInstagram: old account - hacked so can\'t access but still available for kitty pics. @*** New Instagram: @***\r\nWebsite: ***.**\r\nhttps://***/***
