they are very good boy and girl. they step up on command, can whistle parts of the Andy Griffith theme, is beginning to try to vocalize words/sounds, if you say "pretty girl or boy" they will whistle, and they are not a noisy birds. For their young age they are very intelligent. they enjoys their toys, loves to sit on their perch and "take in" daily, household activities. Macaws typically begin speaking clearly around 1 year old. With greys an experienced bird person is a must! Also, we want their potential family to meet them to see if the chemistry is there before taking them to their new home. it is okay to meet them and decide if they are the birds for you. NO PRESSURE! we simply want them and their new family to be happy. their cage, toys are very nice, but optional. they are on a Zupreem diet along with fruits and veggies. we also place a very small dish of Higgins Safflower Gold in their cage at "birdie bedtime" to make going to their cage a more pleasant experience.
