Re-homing Blue and Gold Macaw / Blue & Gold Macaw Parrot - Female

Unfortunately my Mom can no longer care for her beloved Blue & Gold Macaw due to severe illness since, she requires the use of oxygen and has become less mobile (see actual photos).

Her Blue & Gold is 2 years, hand tame (can provide videos, minor talking capabilities (e.g. hi bird, hello, pretty bird). Enjoys being out of cage but, also content in-cage; can also exist on large stand (as long as the environment is hazard-free, i.e., no cables, electrical wires, toxins, and a clean floor in case she climbs down). Ironically, she prefers men.

Please read this carefully:

There will be a Re-homing Fee / Adoption Fee of $500.00 to discourage poachers and people hoping to obtain a bird to resell. She will be re-homed with an over-size cage, perches, sand-perch, several stainless steel large feeding bowls, which alone would be worth hundreds of dollars. For example, her cage alone brand new would cost anywhere from $200 to $300 without perches, please consider that before you assume that there should not be an appropriate Re-homing / Adoption Fee. Please include your name and a contact number. Also, please know that I am not in a rush to do this, please give me some time to get back to you - thank you.

Please do not email me if, you are not personally interested in my Mom's macaw, therefore, replies stating "it's for my mom; it's for my dad; it's for my wife and two-year old" will be ignored. Also, re-homing with cage; please do not email me, "I have a cage, how much for the bird? Begs the question: what are you doing with an empty macaw cage - either your bird (if you had one) died for some reason or you're looking to poach?!?
