We have an 8-week old, hand-fed, tame, male, Peach-face Lovebird that we've been calling 'Gimpy'. He was born with a 'defective' left wing, and can NOT fly. He is able to 'hop' about 6 inches (from stick to stick), but can NOT fly ANY distance at all. He tries occasionally, but drops quickly. The GOOD news is that he won't have to have his wings clipped!!! Not to mention that he is a SWEETHEART!!! I have loved on him for almost 2 months now and he is ready to go to a GREAT, LOVING home. He would love to be an ONLY bird and be out with you all the time, or could be more independent with a mate. This bird is special to me, so please do not contact me unless you are serious about ownership (no breeders or mills) and will be able to spend TIME with this bird. He is very loving and deserves the attention.
