The dam is Princess Sawny Tillius of Sauk River, whose father is the direct son of the infamous FC-AFC Dare to Dream “Cosmo” who is known as “one of the most powerful, high-driven producers in the field trial world.” Sawny can retrieve all day and has a stellar tracking nose. She is a darling fox-red who is a perfect, loving family member and a great hunting companion. She comes from an absolutely packed line of proven hunters, including several U.S. Open Pheasant champions, Grand Master Hunters and ALPA Hall of Fame recipients.
Sawny has been health tested, and is Clear of EIC, CNM, Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis, PRA-prcd, Degenerative Myelopathy, Cystinuria, as well as all of the 217 health conditions tested through Embark. She is also dilute free.
The sire, Captain Jack’s Lil’ Trigger Bit is a beautiful dark yellow Labrador whose line is also loaded with decorated hunters in the field trial world, including many Master Pointing Retrievers, Field Champions, and American Field Champions. He is a very versatile and experienced hunter with a strong retrieving drive; having hunted fields and forested mountains for upland game, as well as retrieved waterfowl throughout the state. He is the perfect match of work and play, and he has an extremely good nose which never fails to find the birds. He thrives in the water and in the brush, and he can turn the switch on to high power work when it's time!
Trigger has been Health tested on 217 canine disorders, and he is clear on all, including, but not limited to, EIC, CNM, and Skeletal Dysplasia 2. He has been OFA health tested and cleared on hips, elbows, and cardiovascular disorders. He is also dilute free.
The parents’ extensive DNA tests assure us that these puppies will be healthy!
Our puppies have consistently had the best traits of the Labrador show dogs with the deep, black noses and paws, the regal square heads, the otter tail, the moderate stop, and the sweet temperament. They also have the long legs, sleek body, and drive for excellence in the field because of their American Pointing heritage. We begin litter pan training the puppies around 3-4 weeks, and their neurological stimulation therapy and socialization begins soon after birth. You’ll know when you see them why we’ve had so many requests for our puppies. They have gone on to be excellent hunting dogs, service dogs, search and rescue dogs, veterinarians’ dogs, explosive sniffing dogs, and one is even a model for Costco dog products! Regardless of what work they do, they are all loving and devoted family members. I can provide referrals of our many happy puppy owners.
They will have their dew claws removed and their first set of shots. A puppy care package with their AKC papers, a certificate for a month of free health insurance, a litter blanket, toys, food, pedigrees of both parents, and documentation of genetic testing and champion hunting titles on their lines will also be included.
A $300 non-refundable deposit will secure your puppy. This will go toward the final price. Dark fox-reds are $2000 and the lighter ones are $1500. All come with full breeding rights.
