They were $400, but Im moving cross country and the environment and change wouldn’t be good for them. Adorable 2 year old chinchilla in El Dorado County that allows you to pet him and hold him if you catch him. He is super soft and cute. He does spit, but doesn't bite unless very startled or pulled on because he gets scared. I learned how to catch him gently or mid jump. He tries to jump away and my son can't really hold him. He also gets hot if you hold him more than a few minutes. He comes up to you for treats. Not the best fit for our family. Needs to be retained with tall fences best without holes during exercise time. He can be tricky to contain in an exercise pen. It's great if he has a small room to play with no crevices. Just watch him for chewing baseboards and such. Keep it clear. Free large cage in okay condition. He has a fun wheel and ledges in there. He poops every where but does not smell. He is funny. Loves dust baths. My son is also very noisy around him and he doesn't care for too much noise. My son is disabled and a lot of time goes to caring for him and less for our animals. I may also have an allergy to him or the rabbit. The chinchilla's name is Chinchi. He likes to be alone. I tried to get him a friend, and he just wanted to fight. He chases our cat and bites her, but likes our rabbit and lets the bunny lick him. Sometimes he jumps on the rabbit's back and seems a little rough but pretty good with the rabbit. I don't think it would be good for him to be around dogs or other cats because they might try to attack him.View Detail

As much as we love Shawna, we have not given her the attention she deserves due to unforeseen circumstances in our home, therefore we wish for her to go to a loving home that will provide her with the love and attention she deserves.
I am including everything her large wheel which was $ 100.00 all her bedding, 1 year of food , dust bath and her cage for $ 300.00 It has to be someone that does not have cats or dogs (preferably) they get scared really easily that cannot be outside they must be kept cool no more the 70% and they must have an area where they can run around it has to be a play safe area indoors she is great pet they have to be given fresh water every day with ice chips and fresh food there cage needs to be cleaned just a quick wipe down daily but her bedding and dust bath should be taken out and washed and replaced every 4 days She needs to be let out every day at least 3-4 hours to get exercise it has to be a safe play area have tons of chew toys for her . Children 10 or older would be better not good for young kids . They get spooked really easy that is why if you have dogs or cats it would not be a good pet . They like to hide in small areas so you must be careful and you must have AC . They spend most of the day sleeping then around 6- 7 pm they want to come out to play. Large cage I prefer you keep everything in the cage the same way it is so that she does not get stressed out leave the cage with same set upView Detail
