Hello my name is Cocoa! My owner Angela Jones is looking for a forever loving home for me,because her mother who owned me passed away on January 23rd,xxxx.xx she is unable to keep me due to having to take care of another family member who has been sick with diabetes which is her father who is 80yrs xxx.xx she decided it would be better to rehome me with people who are much younger in age to adopt me and give me a forever loving home .She would like to have kept me however knowing that birds like me tend to out live our human owners she wanted to make sure that when her father passes away that I would not be left without a home.I am a very smart bird,and I love to talk.I say things like hey babe,Lord,God,Bye,bye, and pick that bird up.I also say other things too.I love to get out and sit on a bird stand with a perch to sit on.Will even take a peanut from your hand and shell it and eat it .I like those sometimes to eat as a treat.I also like to listen to music on the radio during the day when I get up.I like 50\'s ,60\'s,70\'s,80\'s type of rock and roll music.I also like country,folk,and bluegrass xxxxx.xx owners will sometimes switch between the different types of music I am listing too ,so that I do not get bored with listening to the same old thing all the time. If you get to know me ,and make friends with me I will perch on your arm.I perch on Angela\'s arm occasionally when she lets me out of the cage to try and play with me.Hope we can become friends! Blue and yellow macaw,her name is Maxzine.She is a talkative bird who says quite a lot.She loves to talk,and likes a lot of attention ,she also likes for you to give her peanutes to snack on along with her parrot food.She says things like hello,and bye,bye,and sometimes she will talk back to the other birds.She mimics phases that she picks up from people around her xxx.xxxx when my mother would correct the birds when they got loud.She started saying knock it off,shut up right now,and you know better to the other birds.She was mimicking my mother's voice all the while doing this at times.Maxine is very smart,and would be a great bird for someone who would take the time to get to know her,and earn her trust in them.We have a green macaw named Cocoa also who is very talkative.He is quite a chacter,and sounds like a mexican when he talks.He says things like hey babe,lord,come on,hello,and various other phases.He loves to have alot of attention too,and is very smart.With the right owners both birds would be great pets for someone who is able to spend quality time with xxxx.xxxx all birds they have to really get to know you and you have to earn there trust, and bond with them.These type of birds live for a long time and so they need to go to a forever good home where they will be loved and cared for everyday.We are rehoming them and selling them because my father is getting on up in age and is 77yrs old,and thinks that they would be better off with someone who is adult age and a lot younger than he is at this time.He is a diabetic,and is no longer able to keep the birds due to him getting older,and having to buy his diabetic medicine ,and I am his daughter,but I am having to go back to work to help support my self and help out here financially as my dad is retired and is living on a fixed xxxxxx.xx with me trying to go back to work that does not leave me here to help him with the birds,and they really do need homes where they can get the love and attention that they will xxxx.xx name is Angela Jones and we live here in Garner,N.C.
