Cherry has full AKC registration. She’s been with us since she was 8 weeks old and has been raised with love as a part of our family and as a part of our horse ranch and Happy Little Yorkies breeding program. She has literally slept in our beds, helped with chores and has been well socialized with other dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, bunnies, goats, sheep, cows, horses and other farm animals. She is smart, athletic, elegant and the most loving, loyal, “wants to be a part of your life cuddle bug” ever. She LOVES people and especially children of any age.
Cherry’s silky long coat is beautiful, yet not too hard to maintain. She has a proportionate body and a beautiful face with straight ears.
Cherry travels well, does not get car sick, behaves well off or on a leash, takes baths and is just a pleasure to be around. She rarely barks and if she does it’s for a good reason.
She is in perfect health. Just turned 4 years old on April 5th, 2025 I have included current pictures as well as some from her puppyhood and growing up.
After much thought and consideration, we have decided to let her and another family benefit and enjoy each other’s company. We have 9 girls in our breeding program and one tiny (2.8 lbs) stud. With Cherry being on the bigger side of Yorkie sizes at
10 lbs our stud could never reach to breed her, so we’ve not had a litter from her. We think she would enjoy her life a lot more being just someone’s pet instead of being one of nine, because no matter how much attention we try to give to every one of our girls, it doesn’t equate to the attention she’d get in a smaller family. We’ve decided to do what’s best for her and a win/win for everyone involved.
