Penelope Jane, affectionately known as “Penny,” is an 8-month-old thoroughbred Yorkshire Terrier. I bought her from a local breeder at 8-weeks. She is caught up on all shots, but is not spayed or microchipped. Penny is a total sweetheart! She is very friendly, active, spunky, and full of personality. She has been socialized and does well with other pets and small children. Surprisingly for her breed, she doesn’t bark arbitrarily, but she is a protector as she keeps watch at the door! The problem is that I’m a single mom with a busy work/travel/school schedule. Penny needs the time, patience, and consistency to truly train her up. My children and I adore her, and I have held on for them. But ultimately I have to do what’s best for Penny and myself as the caregiver. I will provide insight and support after she’s been rehomed. Her forever home has to be JUST RIGHT. I do suggest pet insurance. I have Trupanion, though I have never had to use it. She will come with her blanket, cushion, favorite toy, travel carrier, bronze cage w/front & side opening, 4-panel gate w/opening, food bowl, and leftover food.
