Puppy Training:

ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation

The US Military developed this method of:

1. Tactile stimulation

2. Head held erect

3. Head pointed down

4. Supine position

5. Thermal stimulation

When performed correctly, ENS is believed to impact the neurological system by kicking it into action earlier than would be normally expected, the result being an increased capacity that later will help to make the difference in its performance. Five benefits have been observed in canines that were exposed to ENS, including improved cardio vascular performance (heart rate); stronger heart beats; stronger adrenal glands; more tolerance to stress; and greater resistance to disease. In tests of learning, ENS stimulated pups were more active and exploratory.

ESI (EARLY SENT INTRODUCTION, ESI involves introducing puppies to a range of scents to help them become comfortable with different stimuli and develop good problem-solving skills.

Benefits:

• Enhanced Scent Abilities: ESI can improve a puppy's ability to detect and process scents, which is crucial for service dogs, therapy dogs, and other scent-work oriented dogs.

• Improved Temperament: Early exposure to a variety of stimuli can lead to more confident and well-adjusted dogs.

• Better Problem-Solving Skills: By being exposed to different scents and situations, puppies develop better problem-solving abilities.

• Introduce scents: Present a variety of scents to the puppies, such as grass, bark, dirt, etc.

• Observe/Record reactions

ESI in conjunction with ENS:

• Combining ENS and ESI: These two methods are often used together as part of a comprehensive puppy training program.

3.SOCIALIZATION. Puppies are systematically introduced to humans over the course of several weeks.

4. MOTION DESENSITIZATION.

EARLY MEDICAL ATTENTION. Mom was on canine prenatal vitamins beginning shortly before conception until pups are fully weaned.

First shots will be given at 6,8 16 weeks of age using Durvet Canine Spectra 9

All pups have their initial Rabies vaccine.

Puppies are dewormed at 6, 8, 10 weeks of age.
