RaTTy Husky/Dexter gsh Greyhound Mix"BETTY"Challenge Certificate pup. We adopted him at the Phoenix Pet Expo a year ago April. He is neutered, microchipped, UTD on Parvo and Rabies (ready for another distemper shot), really great with kids, crate trained, and likes to travel. He does however have one problem-he does not get along with large dogs. He has picked fights with our big dogs just one time too many. You can only keep them separated so long with baby gates, etc., but it's a stressful way to live for him. He is also unpredictable in his aggression, so at first he would seemingly get along with the big dogs (hence the pic where he's sitting on one of them), but he attacks without provocation. He gets along with our little pug/chi mix just fine but we are just worried about the day he really annoys one of these big ones and gets hurt. I've even seen him hanging from the lip of one of our big dogs. We have tried for one year and the behavior has only escalated, so we've sadly reached the conclusion we have to find a new home for this adorable, little clown. He does need to be with another small dog or with someone home all the time because he suffers from separation anxiety (whines and barks-no chewing behavior). His bed goes with him, but we need to keep his crate. We are also asking for a $125 rehoming fee (we paid $250 for him at the Pet Expo last year).
