Listing Description
-Doodle is a red roan purebred QH mare
-Foaled 03/17/2006
-Out of AQHA reg QHs (but is not AQHA eligible due to dam not having DNA on file)
Sire: Hay Ima King- http://www.***/hay+ima+king
Dam: Alycredit- http://www.***/alycredit
-Registered with AHQHR as a 1/2 QH (she was DNA tested for this registration and is a 100% match for her sire); Registered name is King's Yankee Doodle Dandy
-Rides western, have ridden her bareback, she's a solid trail horse, laid back and easy going, no spook, buck, rear, or biting; currently needs reconditioned, hadn't been ridden for 2 years (due to breeding her and not having time to ride much) hopped on her a couple weeks ago to get her restarted and she never missed a beat.
-Stands well for farrier, currently has front shoes with pads and is sound, she previously had a flare of founder (she was flared when I purchased her), she has been in remission for the past 2 and a half years. She has a stable 7 degree rotation of her coffin bone. This does not get in her way, she wears front shoes and rides like a champ.
-Has had one foal, has a nice filly on her now, foal is ready to wean and will be on premises at time of sale. She is an excellent brood mare. Breeds easy and throw nice colorful foals.
Looking for a good trail home, she was previously used on barrels and hated it so a trail home would be best, FARRIER REFERENCES ARE A MUST.
No, I do not sell horses as kid safe, she is safe and sound but I never sell horses as children's horses as I don't have kids and don't have any that ride. The only video available is her in the round pen, it is brief and only shows her moving out a bit under saddle for the first time in 2 and a half years.
Please do not make offers without seeing mare and please no trades. Thanks.
