Pet for Sale
Listing Description
Sonny is in foster home in Victoria, B.C. and is looking for a home with another dog. If you have a dog who needs a nice, lovable furry companion then Sunny is your guy. He has separation anxiety being on his own when his person goes out, but while in foster with the three other dogs he has no issues at all....this is why we know he needs a stable dog friend. Doesn't have to be a small dog either....he adores the big Lab! He is doing his business outside but we still make sure to watch him and not giving him to much "freedom". We want him to continue to succeed with his house training. He sleeps in his crate all night without a fuss and is a dream to walk on leash. Sonny would do best in a home where there is a secure yard to run and play. He's not the kind of dog that you will take everywhere in the car when you go out.....he will throw up if he is stressed, but he does feel more comfortable if riding on someone’s lap. Sensitive little guy! He is not suited for a small townhouse or condo with neighbours very close by. He is also living with cats. He just needs a family who has a little patience to help him overcome his anxiety, and a furry friend to keep him company if you do need to leave him. He gets along with kids, cats and other dogs....what's not to love? Sonny is fully vaccinated, wormed, received flea treatments, is neutered and tested for ehrlichia, heart worm, anaplasmosis and lyme ***
