I have a2 year old akc registered female. Her name is maya. She is purebred. She is crate trained. She is sweet, she loves life and every single person in it. She knows sit, come, stay, and a few specific commands like out or more specifically out of the kitchen. She is a healthy beautiful girl, she loves to play but will also just lounge on the couch. She's not a typical elkhound on the same note she cuddles and loves belly rubs she has always been raised with children and lives with a german shepherd. She gets along with all animals. She does bark if someone is at your door but she is not aggressive in any way. It breaks my heart to have to rehome her but she is not getting the attention she needs right now.
