His favorite weapons are his pretty dark eyes, a tilt of the head, and make cute little sounds to get your attention so you will obey his every command. Especially to play!

But when he starts to bark, don’t take it lightly! Ever heard of the mouse that roared? Psst… Most families buy a Maltese puppy for a daughter(s) between 5 and 10 years old. Once you’ve had a Maltese, you don’t go back to any other breed…. Yes, dads, I’m talking to you too.

Why? Because this Roman Ladies’ Dog/Lion Dog of Malta, is perhaps the oldest purebred lap dog/toy dog still in existence, and they are SOOO CUTE, you can’t stand it. Maltese stay puppies for 2 years.

You will be stopped by children and adults alike for the rest of this little guy’s life! Compliments, questions, the occasional stranger wanting to pet and even hold your animal! Yeah, it can be annoying, but you asked for it.
