Listing Description
Hello, I’m trying to find a great home for my two rabbits. One is a lion head mix (white male) goes by Fluffy. The other is a Dutch Rex (grey and white female) goes by Shylo
I purchased them at 2 months. They’ll be 2yrs old this September. I’m no longer able to give the run free life style they deserve. They’re in their cages most of the day now due to my second son being born and my not being able to clean up after them around the house as often as I could before. I really just want to place them in a nice loving home that will accept them. MUST BE RABBIT FRIENDLY!!!
Frequently Asked Questions about Rehoming Rabbits
1. Why are you rehoming your rabbits?
I am rehoming my rabbits, Fluffy and Shylo, because I can no longer provide them with the free lifestyle they deserve due to my changing family circumstances, specifically the arrival of my second son. They have been kept in their cages most of the day, which is not ideal for their well-being.
2. What types of rabbits are available for adoption?
Fluffy is a lionhead mix (white male) and Shylo is a Dutch Rex (grey and white female). Both are friendly and loveable companions looking for a new home.
3. How old are the rabbits?
Fluffy and Shylo will be turning 2 years old this September. They were purchased when they were 2 months old, making them healthy and active adults ready for a new family.
4. What should a potential adopter know?
It is essential that their new home is rabbit-friendly. I want them to be placed in a loving environment where they can thrive, ideally where they can have plenty of space to run and play outside their cages.
5. Where are the rabbits located?
The rabbits are located in Summerville, Dorchester County, South Carolina. Potential adopters in the surrounding areas are welcome to inquire about them.
6. What do I need to prepare for adopting a rabbit?
When adopting a rabbit, it's crucial to have a spacious cage, appropriate food, and toys for enrichment. Additionally, a rabbit-friendly environment is necessary to ensure they feel safe and comfortable.
7. Will the rabbits be up to date on vaccinations?
It is recommended to check with a veterinarian about vaccinations and health checks for rabbits when adopting to ensure they are in good health.
8. Can I adopt both rabbits together?
Yes, I would prefer to keep them together if possible since they are bonded and would benefit from each other's company in their new home.
