Listing Description
We have a 22 month old male labradoodle named Rocco. He is from a litter of pups that our chocolate lab had given birth to almost 2 years ago. Rocco was the last of our pups that we sold a year ago to a family. They could not keep him and decided to return him to us at the beginning of this year in early March.
Since acquiring Rocco we have noticed that he very territorial. Taking him for walks can be a challenge as he gets anxious when he sees other dogs and try’s to jump up bark at them and sometimes bite them.
We have tried reaching out to rescue centers to re-home him listing him for free etc. Our household cannot keep him as we already have two dogs of our own and a household of four boys making time and money scarce to devote to another dog.
Rocco is all up to date with his shots since May 19 2025. He was neutered last summer in June 2024 and he is fully potty trained and crate trained. A crate is not necessary though as he is very good at night and waits until 7 am for his daily walk.
He is a very loving dog and great with children. Loves attention and loves to be by your side all the time. Just a really sweet boy. He probably would do well with a single owner or someone who needs an emotional support dog.
We are simply desiring to find him a loving home with the right owner who can provide him with the one on one training he needs as well as the love and care he deserves for the rest of his life.
Please serious inquiries only.

Temperament
: Meet Rocco, a 2 year old male, standard labradoodle. He is from a litter of puppies that our chocolate Labrador Retriever had. We have been looking for him to find his tribe that can love him for the rest of his life.
Originally he was sold to a lady 1 ½ years ago but she was unfortunately unable to keep him and returned him to us. We have had him for the past 9 months and have tried listing him for free on several social media outlets and advertisements through various websites.
Since acquiring Rocco we have noticed that he very territorial. Taking him for walks can be a challenge as he gets anxious when he sees other dogs and try’s to jump up bark at them and sometimes bite them. He has behavioral issues that need to be addressed and this is not a dog for the weak. Someone with experience and who has the time to train him properly would be best for him. My husband and I do not have the time to give Rocco as we have 2 dogs of our own and a very busy schedule with our four boys. We are overwhelmed and cannot keep him. I have also witnessed how our chocolate lab has deteriorated in her demeanor as well when she is with Rocco. I have suggested to my husband several times giving him to the animal shelter but he refuses because he is afraid of the dog being put to sleep.
