I had this hedgehog for literally only 2 months so he’s still new to me. I have a baby an I can’t care for both it’s too much for me very easy to care for you just have to feed them once a night but always keep the water bowl filled with only luke warm water lamp stays on only at night an off during the day he can eat various of food if u research or speak to a vet they can tell u the types of food they eat I’ve feed him lettuce but he doesn’t seem to like but he likes apples which is ok for them to eat bananas vegetables like lettuce etc cant remember everything . He is amazing they only have to get a bath an get there nails cut once a month an just play with him bond with him they love big spaces an to explore but he sleeps a lot so u gotta break him out the habit so he’s not so isolated in the cage. The hedgehog comes with everything the cage dom toys water an food bowl lamp wheel tunnel & hedgehog Vitamins (only add a pitch in his food for every feeding) I also bought his a coat but it was for a dog an didn’t realize it but he loves to sleep in it so that’s included as well because u can put it in his dome to keep him warm hedgehogs get cold easy so keep it at a warm temp in your home. I spent 600$ on the hedgehog itself &a couple hundred on everything else so I’m working with u guys with prices I spent a good 1 100$ but selling it for lower . His health is perfectly fine I took him to the vet but they should go to the pet atleast once a year. He’s friendly but when entering a new home he has to adapt to the environment so they get nervous especially they don’t have the best eye sight so unrecognized noises can make him a no nervous. When I first bought him they told me to leave him alone for three days so he can get comfortable. You don’t wanna have to take him out right away because then he’ll hiss at u. After that bond with him carry him let him wonder an explore an he will get a lot more comfortable with u carrying him an everything but he has a good personality but keeps himself isolated in the cage if u don’t let him out enough.
