Ruger is an incredibly energetic, playful, sweet, and loving dog. He's very friendly to people and other dogs/cats(just wants to play). And he plays very modestly with other dogs. Mostly lots of running and such. He is incredibly sweet at times and super rambunctious at other times. Which is completely normal for his breed and age. Hes very intelligent, with a decent understanding of the basic commands sit, stay, lay down, come, place(get on dog bed) and shake. He is however a bit stubborn on recall. I think E collar training would definitely tidy that up very nicely. Ruger has been through a puppy socialization class to ensure friendly behavior with other dogs and people, a basic obedience class, and a short stint of bird hunting introduction. He is microchipped and a purebred German Shorthaired Pointer. I strongly recommend hunting with him as he will make someone a great Bird Dog. His drive for birds is very high. Ruger is also crate trained. I love Ruger very much and have taken good care of him for the 8 months he's been in my care. Must find excellent home for him he deserves it. I will include crate, dog toys/bones, leash, 100ft lead, 25 ft lead, dog bed and other various items that are Rugers.
