FAQ - German Shepherd for Rehoming
Why are you rehoming your German Shepherd?
I'm so sad to do this, but due to various circumstances in our lives, we do not have the time to give our 8-month-old German Shepherd the attention and play he needs.
What is the rehoming fee?
There is a rehoming fee of $750 to ensure that you can take the time to train him, as he truly needs it.
What are his current health records?
He is 100% German Shepherd, up-to-date on shots, and I have all his vet records available. He does have a little deformed nose from an incident when he was younger, but it does not affect his health.
Is he good with other dogs?
No, he needs to be the only dog in the home. He barks at other dogs and sees them as a threat. We have not been able to afford training, but it is crucial for his socialization.
How is he with children?
He is good around kids, but he requires an experienced trainer or someone familiar with German Shepherd behavior.
What commands does he know?
He knows commands such as sit, stay, lay down, and will wait for you to say no before eating. He loves attention and responds well to commands when given properly.
What issues does he have?
He has regressed in his potty training and now needs more consistent training and supervision to avoid accidents indoors.
What will come with him?
He will come with his cage, a big bag of food, all his toys (most of which are torn but he loves them), his bowls, leash, gentle leader, collar, and his favorite blanket.
