Junior is a beautiful, neutered, 1 year old, long haired, jet black German Shepherd. He has all his shots and is on monthly heart worm protection as well as monthly flea and tick protection. He\'s a good dog with a personality all his own. He\'s a real character! But can also be a great watch dog. He knows the sit and stay command but could use a little more obedience training. He is not for a first time G.S. owner. You must have G. S.experience. You must also have a fenced in yard. He is a big boy with big bone structure. He has a habit of jumping on people which I haven\'t been able to break due to severe shoulder problems. Like all German Shepherds, he barks when someone or something comes near \"his owner or territory\" but he is a big friendly guy and has never bitten anyone. He\'s just a puppy in a very big body. He gets along with other dogs. I don\'t know about cats because he\'s never been around one. He gets excited around children and will jump on them, so I wouldn\'t advise that he go to a home with smaller children because of his size. The ONLY reason I\'m parting with Junior is because I\'ll be needing a shoulder replacement and won\'t be able to handle him at all. Otherwise, he\'d spend his life with me and I\'d finish his training....so I want to know that he will be in a great home. I will not rehome to anyone without G.S. experience. I will not rehome him to anyone who plans to keep him outside! If those are your intentions, don\'t even respond!! Junior is an inside dog. I require a Vet reference and a picture of your fenced in yard. If interested.
