Hello! This is my Dominican Purple Tarantula. He is around 2 years old and his name is Vanessa. I got him around a year ago thinking he was a female (hence the name). He is a beautiful dark purple color on his body with an almost magenta head. When any sunlight hits his legs they shine bright purple. Unfortunately he is not the nicest and I want to make it clear that he is not the kind of spider that will tolerate handling. Although he isn't aggressive he will rear up at you or run to the other side of its tank when its opened. I've never had a problem with him trying to escape or attack. I am in the process of moving to another state and can no longer care for him. The price is negotiable and his tank and everything inside is included.
