Listing Description
Goose is a foster dog who came from a hoarding situation. She is around 5 years old and a chiweenie mix. She is super sweet & smart and learns quickly. She came to us not leash trained, had trouble eating, didn’t know how to use stairs, not potty trained and in one week has learned stairs, how to use the bathroom outside, walk on a leash, and so much more! She is such a lap dog and will sleep right in the bed with you. She is not fully house trained, so far she will have the occasional accident but we are learning quickly! She also prefers a harness over a collar and loves to wear sweaters when it is cold outside. She has the prettiest big doe eyes and I promise you will fall in love with her as soon as she looks at you with them. She has been through a lot and deserves a home with a lot of love to give.
Goose struggles eating kibble and is currently on a diet of rice and scrambled eggs. We assume in the hoarding situation she was fed only human food, as she only gets excited from human food packages opening. She also has bad teeth currently, is getting a dental soon, but this discomfort could be adding to the kibble struggle. I believe she would benefit from a wet dog food home or a family willing to prepare meals for her.
