1st shot is always already done when you pick up your puppy. Our puppies parents and their puppies are never caged while being raised & enjoy acreage to run freely, chase squirrels and play.
Shortly before pups are released, crate training will begin so that transition is easier. We never cage ANY of our adult dogs, or any of our puppies. Our adults & puppies play, dig for moles, take naps in the sun and enjoy fresh air. Most of all, they explore all day and learn how to socialize with each other, their parents and be happy.
