Listing Description
We are looking for a dog loving family to be a guardian for our Bernedoodle puppy, Cooper. He is ~6 months old and is so sweet and loving. He is a squeaky toy dog! He is a first generation bernedoodle with a mother who is a Bernese Mountain Dog, and his father is a poodle. He is currently ~34lbs.\r\n\r\nWe are a newly developing breeder for family friendly dogs. We are currently working on developing our dogs for breeding, as well as working toward obtaining a pet dog trainer certification, with future goals of raising and training therapy dogs.\r\n\r\nAs a guardian home, you are the permanent home for one of our breeding dogs while they are in our program. Once they are retired (and spayed/neutered at our expense), full ownership transfers to the guardian family and they get to keep the dog forever. Becoming a Guardian Home gives you the opportunity to have one of our puppies or young adults as a family pet while he or she remains in our program at no upfront cost to you!\r\n\r\nBy offering the guardian program, we are able to ensure that our dogs get to live the best possible lives in a loving, caring home where they receive as much one on one attention as possible.\r\n\r\nGuardians are responsible for all “regular” dog care including providing food, treats, toys, etc. They are also responsible for normal vet care that is not breeding related. The dog must be kept UTD on all shots, flea and tick meds, and heartworm meds at guardians expense. Guardians are also required to pay for grooming unless they opt to do it themselves.\r\n\r\nWHAT ARE SOME OF THE REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME A GUARDIAN HOME?\r\n\r\nKeep the dog as an indoor family pet and never allow them to live outdoors\r\nBe willing and able to socialize the dog with other dogs as well as people\r\nProvide adequate exercise and mental stimulation\r\nBe able to bring the dog to and from the breeder within 24-36hr notice\r\nMust be able to communicate, cooperate, and coordinate with the breeder effectively, we love pics!\r\nContact the breeder in the event of any serious illness or accident\r\nFenced in yard is preferred, but not required\r\n\r\nIf at any time, you are unable to care for the dog, he will need to be returned to us. We may be able to accommodate Cooper for overnights if you need to be away for several days, for a fee to be determined.\r\n\r\nWe would prefer to have our dogs placed in the ***
