Listing Description
The Bengal cat is a domesticated cat breed created from hybrids of domestic cats, especially the spotted Egyptian Mau, with the Asian leopard cat. The breed name comes from the leopard cat’s taxonomic name. While many people consider the Bengal to be a wild cat that only pretends to be domesticated, the breed is actually very sweet and loving. The Bengal attaches closely to her people and is a loyal friend. As a large, athletic cat, the Bengal needs to run, jump, and romp to be contented. She is a curious and alert cat. Bengal cats are trainable, smart, athletic, fun to watch and play with, loyal, and love water—all great traits for a family pet. They’re also vocal and communicative and social with people. Bengal cats act get 13 to 16 inches and up to 15 pounds at full growth, most Bengals make it to 10 and even 12 years. We currently have males and females available and ready to go.
