I have a very handsome AKC Australian Shepard looking for his new Furever home. His name is Canik, and he is just over a year old. He comes with his AKC paperwork thats ready to be filled out & filed with his new owners name. I have copies of ALL of his vet records. He has impeccable & extensive records.

About Canik: Canik is a gorgeous, show quality, wonderful, EXTREMELY SMART, AKC registered Australian Shepard! He is exceptional with kids, and other animals (as long as properly acclimated first, like most other dogs) I have 4 kids and indoor cats and he tolerates the cats, but ADORES my kids! He wants to be right in the middle of all the love! He always wants to play, and will bring you his toys constantly! He is housebroken, knows basic commands (sit,down,stay) as well as fetch, drop/leave it. He also sings! Which is hilarious! He really is a love bug. He loves to cuddle and he will keep you in stitches! He is very special to our family, but due to no fault of his ownhe is looking for a new family. Again I will reiterate this change is not his fault, it is MY fault for not doing enough research before deciding on what breed of dog to get my 15 year old who struggles with severe depression, & anxiety as an emotional support dog. Turns out getting a very active, highly intelligent dog is just NOT the right fit for a teen who doesnt want to leave her room. Hindsights 20/20 I REALLY should have realized that He is very important to me and he deserves NOTHING but THE ABSOLUTE BEST! He deserves to live his best life! Because again this is NOT his fault at all! I made him a promise that I will find him the perfect home. One that checks every box that he needs! After all I owe him that much. So please keep in mind that I will not just let him go to any random person or family.

What kind of family/Hooman he needs: Canik needs a family or a hooman that can devote time to him! He doesnt need ALL of it, or even HALF of ithe just needs someone that will not only exercise him, but someone who will also take the time to intellectually stimulate him! If you can do both of those then this he will richly reward you with love and loyalty! He needs an active family or person! If you are an outdoorsy person then this is the dog for you!
