Beautiful 2014 APHA all-around Bay Overo mare. Jazzie is a kind, hard-working mare who loves to please her person. She learns quickly and has real potential in the all-around, Cowboy dressage, obstacles, etc. She easily canters from either a jog or walk, knows how to side pass, do turns on the forehand and haunches, backs, etc. Can do a flying lead change, but is not consistent. Loves the adventure of obstacle work and has a great mind.
She was started very slowly through no fault of her own and has been on the back burner. Last year she had 120 days of professional training where she demonstrated her talent and willingness to learn. She spent August - May last year with the SDSU Division 1 Equestrian Team where she quickly became a Team favorite. The videos are from her first show where she took everything in stride and performed well. She has also been ridden English and has some jumping training. She does great on trails and has also done obstacle work.
She deserves a home of her own where she can thrive and get the attention, time and fun she so well deserves with a person that loves her. This is such a sweet mare and will give her heart to her person.
Jazzie isn’t just all looks. Take a look at her pedigree - she is loaded with top tier bloodlines! She loads smoothly, is great for the farrier, gets along well with other horses, and rarely displays “marish” behavior. She rates middle of the herd order, and also does well with minis and dogs. Miley is a 14 year old registered Quarter Horse Mare standing 15.1 hands. Jill of all trades. She is cute, smooth and personable. She is happy to see you in the morning and interested in what you have to offer, whether that's arena work or going out for the day. She gets excited to see a trailer and is happy to jump in. Loping in circles is a dream on this special lady.
Responds off of pressure. Side-passes, leg-yields, backs, backs in circles, backs in a serpentine, flying lead changes, opens gates and we've been dragging small tarps with great success. Started on counter canter. Good with beginners in a controlled setting. Great on the trail. Fun on cows. Or, good in a dressage arena. She is a perfect one to jump on at the end of the day bareback and a halter.
This wonderful, beautiful versatile mare can literally do it all and will have fun doing it. She enjoys being loved on and appreciates attention.

This stunning gelding is sweet as apple pie and looking for his new family. Chief has it all!! He has done all aspects of ranch work and has been there and done that. He has been ridden in parades, carries a flag, ponies other horses, will rope and track, traffic safe, kid safe, and dang near spook proof (we haven’t found anything that scares him and the kids have monkeyed all over him). He is also a jam up FINISHED barrel horse but will require an experienced rider, he’s a ROCKET. Serious 1D and super show horse. Chief is super in your pocket but also incredibly respectful. He will follow you to the ends of the earth at the prospect of some loving. He is great for the farrier, loads and hauls like a dream, and will stand tied all day and night. Chief is safe no matter how long he sits but is not a dead head and has plenty of energy to go all day if asked. Chief has nice gaits and transitions and is quick and catty like a smaller horse. He loves to work cattle and has been lightly started on the heel o matic both head and heel. There is nothing this sweet guy won’t do! He would also be a BLAST to take on camping trips. ÀQHA gelding perfect kids horse & pack horse
AQHA gelding. Great bloodlines and linage. Most of his bloodlines have been in the American quarter horse hall of fame on the top & bottom side and all live well into their 30's. I posted a few of his relatives and his papers in the photos.
I free feed him round bales and he does fine with grain occasionally.
Bo has worked at a feed lot. Then as a hunting pack horse. He literally comes to gunfire when sighting in guns.
Previous owner hurt his back, stopped hunting, & Bo went out to pasture on 80acres for almost 10 years.
I bought him 3 years ago. He has been wonderful for my kids and myself. My oldest is 24, & youngest is almost 16. Both have become very busy & just don't use him much anymore. Youngest has straight A's & volunteers with the explorer program it leaves her very limited time.
I've had 5 fusions, & laminectomies in 2 surgeries since we have had him & am just not able to ride much anymore.
I hate watching him get wasted & not used anymore. He is happiest when he is doing something.
HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES KIDS AND BABIES. I won't say he is bomb proof but pretty darn close.
He trailers good, loads & unloads with no problem, is very patient with dogs even the ones that try to chase him. I've walked him into water chest high with no problems, walked him 20ft next to running combines. He loves trail rides, perks up when he sees cows, gets along well with other horses especially the mares. If anything he is the lowest on the totem pole. Neck reins or plow reins, i can throw a rope around his neck & ride him. I've ridden him with nothing more than a halter up and down Sullivan road during rush hour with busy traffic, as well as in the middle of the night when it's dark.
When I'm hurting & my balance is off he knows & takes care of me. He becomes very gentle and moves slow for me
Has great feet, good confirmation. He is tall. Haven't measured him but probably about 15 hands or a tad taller.
Is food motivated but also loves his attention.
Would love to have the option to buy him back if you decide to sell, or when it's time to put him out to pasture.
Can possibly negotiate some tack to go with him if needed.
