Asta's litter has arrived! Born on May 15th, they will be ready for their new homes between July 10th-13th! There are 10 puppies total, 4 girls and 6 boys. A Shiloh Shepherd is described as... "stable, outgoing personalities that make them ideal companions and friends. Some of them possess the abilities and drives to excel in all areas of canine activities and sports, such as search and rescue, obedience, agility, herding, personal protection, tracking/trailing, and others." Both parents were negative for DM; the mothers hips were OFA excellent and PennHIP at 90th+ with LF/ 0.28 Rt/ 0.21 and the fathers were OFA Good. The puppies are in 4 colours. Black & brown, dark brown sable, brown sable, and tan/golden sable. They are still young and so far it feels like some of them have different coats. So it seems there will be smooth and plush coats. The father has the genetic predisposition of agility and obedience. The mother has the genetic predisposition of obedience. The father has previously produced police dogs, therapy dogs, and service dogs. The mother is a first-time mother but comes from a line of service dogs (she is one herself).
